About Jacqueline R. Ledgerwood, Esq.

I grew up on a crop farm in Gorham, New York and graduated from Marcus Whitman High School in 2002. In 2009 I received my bachelor's degree in History and Political Science from Keuka College and went on to attend Syracuse College of Law, graduating in 2012. I worked for a small firm in Penn Yan, New York from 2012 until 2020, practicing primarily in transactional law (real estate, wills, probate, civil litigation, evictions, etc.). During my time in private practice, I gained invaluable knowledge in a variety of areas through training from a well respected, experienced attorney that hired me out of law school and made me a partner. In 2020, I decided to expand into other areas of the law and went to work in the Yates County Public Defender's Office practicing family and criminal law. I left the Public Defender's Office after one year to open my own private practice in June 2021. I enjoy the practice of law in the office and in the court room and I'm excited to offer my clients a variety of services.

I currently have a main office in Penn Yan and a satellite office in Canandaigua.
